Yeah definitely, you've had/have a lot on your plate right now. I guess that's when it really does need to be enjoyable and relaxing to be doable. Av> I kind of feel like I need to make time to focus on fsxNet and I Av> certainly do do that but perhaps not as much as before because of all of Av> the stuff above. Yep, can understand that. It's tough because even though it's a hobby, it's important to you and so you can't just let it go for a while or things start to fall apart. I guess that's something different, to me my BBS software is no longer that important to me, and having people use it isn't important either, so if I let it go for a bit, and they jump on something else or keep using as is, it doesn't matter. With a net you've always got to work on it to keep it up - with software it doesn't stop working if you don't constantly add new things. Av> the stuff above. I'm a bit slower to respond to some new membership Av> requests (and feel a bit bad about that) at times but like you remind Av> myself it's a hobby and to do things at my own pace and when it feels Av> enjoyable etc. to do so. Yep, I guess it's a fine line, on one hand people don't mind waiting a bit, on the other if they wait too long they get frustrated and naggy lol. Still, I think there's some wiggle room, waiting a week or so is fine, when it approachs a month of no response it's not so fine - but even then, if you keep them in the loop so they don't think you've quit and the net is on autopilot, it wouldn't be so bad. Av> Haha... it's not just in your head, perhaps we start a support group for Av> like minded folks :) Hehe, I thought this was it ?? Av> lugging of wood. I hope never go down the path of a heat pump... still I Av> should never say never. heat pump? we have an air conditioner that also does heat, when I was in SA had a fire place, that was nice - kind of miss it, but don't miss the constant getting / stacking wood etc. Andrew --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2021/12/24 (Linux/64) * Origin: Agency BBS | Dunedin, New Zealand | agency.bbs.nz (21:1/101) .
