It's certainly tailed off quite a bit here.  Still touched on quite a 
few times per day on the cable news outlets, and still have live 
reporters on-scene, but it's predictably become.... a little boring.  
Just like any other major news story, it plays out after a while.

Also, quite honestly, the USA has a few other problems going on that are 
quite a bit more important to Americans than a small-ish war going on 
thousands of miles away, that doesn't really directly affect us too 
much.
