I know what his point was. My point was that I don't want to hear from hypocrites about what I should be interested in.

And no, those two things did not get more coverage than the war in Ukraine. Ukraine got more intense coverage for a longer period of time, people talked about it at work, the company I work for pulled out of Russia, lost hundreds of millions, relocated its workers, the country is sending tens of billions in aid.
