I'm planning on wearing a mask all day but not sure I'll handle it. Do they still require mask wearing there? Here it's only required in health care settings like going to the doctor or chemist. We choose to wear ours anyway when we go out, but we don't have to. > Been doing some BBSing also but equally have been keeping an eye on parents health and also supporting my immediate family with their usual ups and downs so yeah never a dull day. Yep, been thinking of you re: parents. Hoping all is going ok there. > Nice to chat with you again in echomail... I think everyone is busier and or got other things on these days but it's nice when I see a few old (can we say that now :)) names pop up now and then. Yeah I guess so. fsxnet's been here a few years now. I'm definatly feeling old anyway. > Been watching some 70's and 80's movies lately on a streaming service called Tubi that costs nothing other than sitting through ads for T Mobile and Walmart etc. I think the IPv6 tunnel I am running allows me to watch this stuff so that's kinda a bonus. Cool. I take it that's an american service? (Do you guys even have walmart? We don't) Pretty cool that they don't block it through the tunnel. > Watched The Taking of Pelham 123 from 1976?? tonight. Not bad, I liked it more than the 90's version with Denzal Washington in it. I've not seen the original, but have seen the 90s version. Don't remember much about it though. > I expect after the next few days my brain may be fried as I won't be used to all the people contact having done most of my meetings over Teams or Zoom or... so yeah, bracing myself for a bit of mental decompression over the weekend. The nice thing is it will be a long weekend here as we have a public holiday (Queen's Birthday) next Monday. Yep, I wonder if it will be a good thing or a bad thing? For some I imagine having that human interaction would be welcome, for others not so much.. I'm probably in the latter catagory :P > Anywhoo, nice to see you around and I hope you're having fun playing with whatever you're working on at the mo that brings you interest. Thanks. been working on a synchronet system, working on JS mods and also wrote a new door. Had a bit of a look at talisman, there's an issue where in some circumstances a node can hang and not free up. I've noticed it on alpha's BBS, but haven't been able to reproduce it here, so not really sure what's going on there. I thought it was when people hung up inside a rlogin session, but I'm not sure now. Has it been really cold there? We've had a "Polar blast" last few days, I'm not sure what that means exactly, but I assume it's wind comming from antarctica. It's been pretty cold, though I imagine nothing like you guys get when it's cold there :P Andrew === TitanMail/linux v1.1.5 --- SBBSecho 3.15-Linux * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (21:1/183) .
