How about a simple weighted board with a groove? The tablet rests at a bit of an angle in the groove as it "leans back" to the upper edge of the groove behind it? For a viewing purpose such as to watch a film, that should be enough. For tapping purposes, modify the design into an L-shape where the back of the tablet has something more confident to lean against, and have the base heavier than the table itself. Any carpenter or woodworker could whip up something like that fairly easily. I sell hand-free bookrests that can double as tablet holders on uneven surfaces such like in a bed: https://www.thebookseat.ca/ They are soft and light. Perfect for use in a bed. In otherwords, no bulky "hard" hardware to worry about jabbing your ribs. :D ;) --- OpenXP 5.0.51 * Origin: (} Pointy McPointFace (21:4/106.21) .
