I was going to say the same things.  I've seen people complaining about TM's posting style for at least a couple years now, here and on another message network, and after a while it has started to seem like much ado about nothing.  
As you said, what's annoying to someone might not be annoying to someone else,
and you're free to skip messages that don't interest you.
