When I got the notice they were ending the free legacy account, I switched to the business plan with $0 for several months.  Now, they won't let me go back to the personal legacy one they're now offering.

I cancelled entirely.  I've had enough of Google, not just for this reason.  I've got one very old gmail address I wish I could move to another server.  I'm going to unwind that over the next year and I'll be free of this miserable company.

What a terrible way they've evolved over time.
