Who are they annoying though? What might be annoying to one person isn't necessarily annoying to another, and who here can speak for everyone?

Do you know that this person has that motivation for posting them? If that was the motivation, perhaps they shouldn't post them. I don't know that it is though.

How do you start a conversation? Random topic starters could invite healthy conversation about said topic, something we didn't think about discussing before. 

I don't think it turns into a farce, what puts a net on the nose for me is deliberate nastiness - which is sometimes disguised as sarcasm, sometimes not.

If one doesn't want to talk about campbell's soup or rainy days, they are free to hit next - and while the same could be said about nasty posts, nasty posts shouldn't be posted in the first place.
