What I mean is that this phrase is used by companies and institutions to fire/cancel/remove people because of their private views and morals.  People have been dismissed for not subscribing to fringe ideas with this phrase used as justification.

Zealots are using seemingly innocent justifications to act in an awful manner.

I'm sure Avon is not using it in this manner, nevertheless seeing it makes me wary.
