Being in Oregon...the whole state has been voting by mail for around 20 years. Myself...not a Democrat or Republican...but a member of the Progressive party, Means I couldn't vote for candidates of either of these two parties because of what they call a closed primary allows you to either vote for those in the party you are registered with. Other states have open primaries where anyone who is registered can vote for whoever. My question is...does the government allow you to vote by mail or absentee (can't vote in person...so you vote beforehand)? ....
