I've been busily* traveling the globe as part of my job, and BBSing time kinda
got cut, so I've just been logging in enough to look at the occasional old
message.

It's nice that the bases are active, even if it's been too active for me to
get caught up.

But that's okay, as I'm sure I'll wander back around more regularly
eventually, and I'll certainly hit any Meatups that happen at a convenient
time.

*I got sent to Montreal for a project, but a few days into it, got pulled
back to a different project in California. I'm currently back in Germany, and
have been trying to work on a certain sort of simulation that I thought was
going to be the main part of my job, when the year began. I think I've gotten
about 3 work weeks on it, so far.

It's a bit too much, but the work itself tends to be interesting. I'd just
like a little less of it.

And hopefully a bit more time spent on at least making enough ANSIs to enter
any demo parties I might come across.

Regardless, hi to everyone. I'm missing a lot of messages, but it's still
nice to be a lurker in the forum. (And, also, hi to Stormtrooper, as it's
neat to see someone posting from Storm BBS, especially when I'm not posting
so much.)
