It looked like I had to first enable Proton in Steam's compatibility settings for the game before it would allow me to install it. And there are several versions of Proton to choose from to run the game. I tried only a couple (the development version, and the most recent versioned one), but without much luck. With the development version of Proton, Microsoft Flight Simulator would start up but then immediately quit back to the Linux desktop. With the most recent versioned release, Microsoft Flight Simulator started, and I heard its sound, but it was only showing a blank white screen. Proton's compatibility list online says Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 largely works with just some minor issues. I guess I'll have to try some different Proton versions or settings and see what happens. Nightfox --- SBBSecho 3.15-Win32 * Origin: Digital Distortion: digdist.synchro.net (21:1/137) .
