That does not work if your router is behind a DS-Lite stack or a CGNAT or any
of the other cost-cutting techniques budget ISPs use. You simply don't have an
Internet routable IP with those things so people cannot connect to your board
from the outside.

Some budget providers will forward ports for you over their monstruosity of a
deployment but don't take that for granted.
