Yeah, I got my first computer in 1992, and it was a hand-me-down 286 PC.  I never had any of the computers from the 80s, though I knew someone who had a Timex Sinclair that I messed around with a bit.  I've heard a lot of interesting things about the other 80s computers like the Commodore 64, Amiga, etc. but never had one myself.
