None any more... only use a ubuntu LTS and start again when it can no longer
do its job.  In the past.. Slackware, Red Hat, Fedora, Mandrake and even
Ubuntu. The worst failure is when an install attempt is made for whatever
piece of software fails, and then you're locked at a point where you cannot
remove the failed install and you can't complete it either.
