Ahh thats probably where it differs, I had nothing to do with any server
grade equipment... just userland systems.

FirstClass BBS used to be a pain in the patooty though.  If you let it run
indefinately it'd eat the HFS file system somehow. I'd have to pull it down
at least monthly and hit it with diskfix or was it first aid? I forget, in
order to keep it flying reliably.
