Mac OS 7 and 8 were OK, but they produced Bus Errors like any other OS had 
their errors, parameter RAM resets were a common fix, and the TCP stack was 
crap. Drivers needed to be installed/reinstalled frequently, in my 
experience. I was working mostly mac shops from 1992 until 1999.
