What people defines as easy to use depends on their knowledge level.

Your regular grandparent Francisco will think a system with no options to mess
with and a beautiful interface is easy to use.

Your regular power gamer w00rm300 will think such system is hard to use because
it is not clear how to tune GPU acceleration, since the cool options are hidden
behind an army of wizzards but poorly documented.

Your regular bearded admin Theo de Stallman will think an OS with its Source
Code available and well documented is easy to use because it is trivial to
write your own drivers for it or to patch it so it works as you prefer it to
work.
