There used to be an animated GIF that the creator made that said just that.  I saw it back in the 90s and have respected (and defended) that pronunciation since.

When people argue with me about it, I remind them that it is a Proper Noun, and therefore nothing different from a person's name.  Then I proceed to mispronounce their name for a while.
