I guess it's more like there's really nothing to "hack" on a BBS user's account, even if somebody got a password that they shouldn't have. Back in the Golden Era of BBSs, when everything was over a modem/serial line, there was no security, and it wasn't deemed to be a big deal. I know times have changed, and it's probably the right thing to offer SSH access to those who want it. .... AAcckk!!
