Tramadol is meant to do the same, never saw any effect myself, but have
spoken to others that couldn't cope with that very effect.

PAraphrasing BlueWhite's comment about either not dreaming or remembering
them as you used to.  Apparently its possible to train your brain to remember
more of them. Something about telling yourself before you sleep that you're
going to remember them, may take a little time but appears to work to some
degree.
