It seems weird that pizza tends to be really expensive.  Many places charge around $2.00 per extra topping, which seems steep.  And there was one time when I wanted to try a local pizza place and get a large pizza, but I saw they would have wanted to charge around $30 for it.  It seems steep when you could instead go to a place like Papa Murphy's and get a similar pizza for around $15-$17 (although you do have to cook theirs at home).

Then there's also Mod Pizza, where you can buy an individual pizza and it costs the same price with whatever toppings you want on it.
