It would depend if it was vegetarian or vegan. A vegetarian will still eat things like cheese, honey, etc. Where a vegan won't eat anything that comes from any animal.

My son-in-law is a vegetarian, and my daughter and her boyfriend are both vegan. It makes it interesting when we have a holiday meal. :)
