There are two modes of play.  The first is one player controls the demons, and up to three others try to make it through a scenario alive, fighting the demons as they spawn.  Like the computer game, you collect weapons, ammo, keys and try to progress through the level.  The "demon master" as I call them, tries to get them killed.

the second is multiplayer, where people move and fight each other, in deathmatch or I think capture the flag as well.
