I'm not going to attempt to argue about a subject that I am not entirely
familiar with. You're most likely right, anyway.

Well, now, it's important not to generalize here. A lot of SysOps out there
are just as knowledgeable as you (or me), as well! Sure, there's a lot of
them that barely understand how they got set up in the first place. But
implying that *all* SysOps are like that is simply incorrect.

For the record (pun not intended), it seems *I'm* struggling with DNS
right now...this doesn't mean I don't understand how it works, it just means
that I broke it. Let's pretend that I did so intentionally, as a learning
experience, okay? (^_^)

And fail2ban isn't *that* hard to figure out...if one is willing to put in
the effort to try...
