Word had it in the State up over of the land down under, that the shift in
time was really only of any value to them city folk bumkpins that didn't know
how the real world worked.  Farmer Joe was still out in the field/paddock
doing the regular animal/plant antics at the regular "solar" hour.  But would
have trouble interfacing with bizzinusses that was running on the fandangled
time, due to conflict of interest at the assigned hours.

The up over down under being Queensland for the uninitiated.
