That does not count as modern anymore. I think Western producers have been reliably producing utter crap since 2016. There are some honorable exceptions, but as of late we are only getting films about licensed IPs, reboots, remakes, and not-so-thinly veiled propaganda. It is creative bankrupcy of the worst kind. Most of the few movies that are better than that are cheap popcorn fun rather than genuine great pieces. Asian entertainment is not following this trend, so they are one of the few bastions still holding. In any case, I am of the opinion that there are enough movies already made. There are more filmed hours than I could watch in my lifetime. A meteor could splat Hollywood flat as far as I care, because I would just keep enjoying old films from the silent era to the 60s anyway. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (21:2/138) .
