I've heard some stories of how badly China treats some people (going as far as human rights violations).  So I'm not really interested in watching the olympics this year.  Sometimes it seems like countries hosting the olympics is just them trying to put on a show to make themselves look good to the rest of the world when there are bad things going on there that we aren't hearing about all the time.
