I think I still have a couple music CDs that I got in 1992. They still worked the last time I played/ripped them, but it has been a while. I also have a CD-R I burned in 2000 (my original BBS backup) and I was still able to read it a couple years ago. bo> CD's are best stored in a cool, dry area, and stored on their side I bo> believe. Yeah, I tend to store mine in a fairly cool dry area. I usually have mine on a shelf, though for a while I've had my CDs packed in boxes due to moving and have just left them in the boxes.
