It kind of depends of what you consider to be a new style.

For an old rocker, Rhapsody style Epic-Fantasy-Operistic Metal is new. I agree
it is awesome. What counts as "new" for me are the new styles such as Gothic,
Dark, Death... and while you can find some talent there, I can't say I like the
style.

You can't say it is nostalgia because I like lots of things that are from
before my times hah.
