Perhaps more risk taking > with storylines then? I have mentioned elsewhere, but since I convinced my father to cancel Amazon Prime and we started watching old movies from the DVD library again, we have been watching good movies instead of utter crap. Also, music from the 90s and before was more carefully produced in my opinion, because people bought the albums and actually appreciated them. Nowadays, everybody has a gigantic music collection or streaming access and they don't give a damn for the music they can listen to. WHen I was a kid, if somebody gave me a Manowar tape, I was listening to it for months. It shows because disco houses are no longer willing to assign big budgets to studio recording. There was a time in which a metal label would spend 6 figures recording some epic metal with an orchestra and everything. NOwadays there is no way they are breaking even from that so you no longer get such level of production unless the artist in question is already rolling in money and does not give a damn. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (21:2/138) .
