Yes that's correct at this stage/time. 

I confess I do find myself wondering if it would be helpful to spin up 1-2 echos to serve peoples desire to discuss geopolitical issues etc.?

Geopolitics aside it felt like the rest of the bad discord/acromny that led me to ask folks refrain from country politics some months agao now, was because of all the USA political discussions taking place during the Trump presidency. Around then if/when the subject of USA politics came up it got heated and things went downhill fast. Hardly a fun / helpful / kind / respectful space. So yeah...
