I am of the opinion that installing untrusted binary blobs in a mostly FOSS
Operating System. Anyway, Fedora is well supported and afaik there are rpm
packages available. In fact I think they have a repository you may add if you
want such thing.

Ubuntu comes with an App Store out of the box too, which interfaces with
traditional apt repositories, and also with another packagins systems such as
snaps and such.

I personally find App Stores clunky and much prefer a ports system myself.
