I have a home made system which is basically a Banana Pi that feeds a mini hifi
system (via USB) and plays a looooooong MP3 starting and stopping at set times
(gotta love cron).  Currently, I'm using the background sounds of a Next Gen
era Federation starship. :)

For me it's not so much about tinnitus as masking sudden low level background
noises that trigger my auditory hypersensitivity.
