Eustacian tubes. I hade the same problems. Had drainage tubes put in my eardumbs a few times, adenoids removed.. Years later in my 20s the attributed it to allergies. Got an allergy prick test, tried to eliminate as many household allergens as I could. It helped a little. 

That was decades ago, and I finally cleared up my ears & sinus a few years ago by guitting wheat & gluten.
