I have the Google government listening device, and use Home Assistant to play white noise each night starting at 10pm in all the bedrooms.  It really does help.. I can't sleep with total quiet, either.  

Ever since I was young and grew up with computers in my room.  I'm used to sleeping in data centers.. :)
