Well, when I was younger I sometimes felt the same way.  Now that I am
older, I am usually not jealous of them.  It is sometimes even the other
way round and married friends are jealous of me.

Having watched married friends over the years (friends with the couple, not
just one member), and realizing that being married now to most of the women
I dated when I was younger probably would not have worked, the jealousy I
had when I was younger went away.  There are certain times when it would be
nice to have someone but I have also realized there are a lot of times when
I am very, very glad I do not.  :)
