The NAS is just a two drive QNAP - your right a 5 disk one, fully loaded is just too bulky and heavy.

I dont like QNAP as an OS, would much rather throw FreeNAS on it and run PLEX in a jail (which is what a do at home) - but the QNAP drives the TV when directly connected to HDMI. So I was going to explore with a chrome dongle it the TV, and if that works, the QNAP OS is gone (it's just too slow and bloated, probably take a good 10 mins to boot).
