BSDi for the win! That was my first "real" UNIX, following a couple of years 
supporting SCO Xenix.

Have you played with tildes? People are setting up single box unix systems 
with public_html spaces, gemini spaces, IRC channels federated with the 
other boxes, and a slew of console apps. It's like going back in time in a 
lot of ways.
