I ordered an LG 34" ultrawide monitor and a nice 60% mechanical keyboard for 
my office, seeing as I'm going to end up working out of my home for the 
forseeable future. It'll be replacing 2 23" monitors and a "chiclet" style 
wireless keyboard.

With a couple of years-old i7 desktop, my network upgraded to gigabit, a 
Proxmox server and a Synology NAS replacing a Core 2 Duo desktop with a 
bunch of external SATA drives, I'm in good shape for the year. I'm planning 
on getting my AWS certification and playing more with Azure. 

Now, it's time to segment my network into a homelab network, a network for 
IoT devices, and maybe a guest network.

This spring, we're going to enclose an outdoor deck just outside my office 
and replace the double barn doors with two french doors we have left over 
from a remodel. It'll open up my office space and give us a little more 
outdoor space.
