Most things change themselves now-a-days (that wasn't always the case) but there are certain pieces of technology that aren't updated/supported anymore. One of them was the old phone system at a previous job of mine. It always sprang forward or fell back when it was supposed to, then the US decided to switch the dates we sprang forward or fell back. I think that was what, 2007 or 2008-ish? The phone system wasn't able to be updated, but we were able to turn off daylight saving time, which meant we just manually had to update the time twice a year. Another system that seem to give us issues are the door entry system (sometimes it updates itself, others it doesn't). If I see several employees standing outside looking frustrated in the morning (or the door propped open) I know that system didn't update itself. Jay ....
