The day in which DST takes place is as arbitrary as DST itself. In Canada, the change day is more dependent on the actual calendar day, and less so on the day of the week, though it is generally kept to the weekend. And I know for fact that it has happened on 'Sunday night' in the recent past. Worst. Monday. Ever.
