Hopefully one day we'll see an end to switching the clocks twice-a-year.

"In November 2020, the legislative assembly of Ontario passed Robert's Bill 214 to end bi-annual time changes and make standard time the year-round time. However, before the clock changes can end, New York and Quebec must agree."

So as long as Quebec and New York State also follow suit, then Ontario is good to go.

New York State's bill (A06443) also stipulates that the States of Vermont,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania would also have to be on board.
