Yes! Exactly this. I did NANOWRIMO the last two years but never finished. This
year I managed to finish 50K words.

I had been wanting to pursue writing as a hobby and thats why I had fallen
out of BBSing and Sysoping. I felt that was taking up too much of my time.
Now that I've written a small novel, I can come up for air and do the BBSing
thing again for awhile.
