So was I, at first. DietPi doesn't come with a desktop, and I'm running it
headless. The DosBOX console definitely didn't like running on the
commandline, through a ssh tunnel. Oddly enough, though, it worked fine when
running output through the BBS...?

So, to use the config programs that some doors have, I simply installed LXDE
and TigerVNC. Don't forget to setup autostart, and 'bob's yer uncle'!
