My wife and I were on vacation and one motel we stayed at had a restaurant next 




door. We walked over for dinner and going inside my wife looked at the interior 




(It had not been remodeled since it opened 20+ years ago) and wanted to go. I 
presuaded her to stay and after looking over the menu there special for the 
night (it was friday) was fish and chips. We both ordered it and it was 
excellent. We told the waitress we really enjoyed our meal and jjust before she 




brought the bill the chef came out to our table and thanked us for dining 
there, he was English and really funny too.
