oh i couldn't resist. vtxedit is a goldmine for pascal programmers, specially
for bbs scene stuff. you can learn a lot from it.

the slow downs, are perhaps because of freepascal/lazarus it self. cross
compiling has drawbacks also.

i would like to write an ansi editor in sdl2 and i did make a start, but never
finished because of other issues (null, real life, other mods etc). 

but vtx is really good and compact and definitely needs more attention from
the scene.
