When you're going to be offline like that, it's considered proper to let 
your Hub know prior to it happening.  Things can be put on hold and then 
resumed when you get back.  If you just disappear and can't be 
contacted....  well...

What updates are you referring to?

Have you communicated with your Hub, and/or Avon, about getting the 
nodelisting corrected/updated?  Doesn't seem like it would be very 
difficult to do.  You can't really do Areafix stuff to connect with 
echos until that is all established.
