I had a look at the source for forum but the license was terrible so i slowly backed away from it :) It's probably better to start from scratch than redoing something old I think, just because people have no expectations and there is no legal worries. Do you have any coding skills? Writing a BBS isn't too hard if you break it down into smaller pieces. The hardest part is integrating the older technologies I think like squish or JAM or FTN etc. If you use squish or JAM then you can use HPT as a tosser and binkd as a mailer and focus on the BBS. It would be cool to get more people interested in BBS development, at one point years ago I started a tutorial, though I don't think anyone was really interested. I find it fun, though I know it's not for everyone. Andrew --- MagickaBBS v0.13alpha (Linux/x86_64) * Origin: HappyLand - telnet://magickabbs.com:2023/ (21:1/126) .
