BUT I ultimately wasn't able to install the required older version of mono
(v2.10.X). And apparently it's needed to run a mono utility to launch
the doors. *So* it's actually a bit of a bust, unless there's a workaround
that doesn't involve Ubuntu 14...LOL... 

SO I think I'm more interested in figuring out how to use a modern BBS version
(Mystic or SBBS) to auto create new users via SSH+Rlogin, like Door Party does
with SBBS. It would need to be a mod, I think. 

Perhaps a server that accepts a connection from Mystic menu RLogin command,
creates the new user account if it doesn't exist and then shuttles
the user to the game server?
